Tenuta Monteti: Interpreting the Maremma of Capalbio, Parcel by Parcel

A family estate in the southern Tuscan Maremma, built on a parcel-based method, sustainability and a deep reading of the Capalbio territory.

Capalbio, June 2026 Tenuta Monteti  (link) is a wine estate in the southern Tuscan Maremma, near Capalbio. Founded in 1998 from the pioneering project of Gemma Bracco e Paolo Baratta, supported from the very beginning by consultant oenologist Carlo Ferrini, it is today run by the founders‘ daughter Eva Baratta and her husband Javier Pedrazzini. The estate covers 142 hectares, in a small valley sheltered by the Monteti hill and open to the sea breeze. Here, the 30 hectares of vineyard are worked as “30 times one hectare”: every parcel is monitored, harvested, vinified and aged separately, as part of an ongoing process of research shaped by precision, sustainability and a distinctive sense of place.

Rivetto presents Seshen, its new Nebbiolo Rosé

Serralunga d’Alba, June 2026 – Rivetto (link) presents Seshen, a new Nebbiolo rosé born from the work carried out both in the vineyard and in the cellar, as the natural evolution of an approach aimed at unlocking the full potential of the variety. A wine that offers a more immediate interpretation alongside the more structured expressions of Nebbiolo, while remaining deeply connected to the grape’s identity. The name Seshen derives from the ancient Egyptian word for the lotus flower, a symbol of rebirth, creation and transformation. It is a fitting reference to the idea behind this wine: exploring every potential expression of Nebbiolo and guiding it towards new forms without altering its intrinsic character.
