Pedemonte di Valpolicella (VR), April 2026 – Tedeschi (link) will be part of OperaWine (link) 2026 scheduled for April 11th in Verona. This is an invitation only, exclusive event that inaugurates Vinitaly (link) and brings together the best Italian producers selected by Wine Spectator magazine.
The Tedeschi winery has been included in the exclusive group of 150 producers selected by Alison Napjus and Bruce Sanderson, Senior Editor of Wine Spectator to participate in OperaWine 2026. Tedeschi will be among the wineries in the
“Classic” category, one of three categories: Legacy Icons, Classic, and New Voices that will be showcased at the event. The “Classic” category identifies those “producers that are leaders in their respective regions and have a strong track record of quality.”
Considered one of the most authoritative international events, OperaWine is a showcase of excellence where the press, workers in the wine sector, and buyers come together from all over the world. Tedeschi’s participation in the event serves to acknowledge the winery’s journey to enhance and promote Valpolicella through a vision that brings together stylistic coherence, research, and strong territorial identity.
During the event, the winery will present one of its most iconic labels: Capitel Monte Olmi Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Classico Riserva 2011, a historic expression of the concept of cru in Valpolicella, and one of the wines that not only identifies Tedeschi but is able to reveal the diversity of the winery’s terroir. The Tedeschi path has always placed the value of the vineyard at its center, offering a contemporary interpretation of the appellation while maintaining a strong bond with tradition.
