Capriva del Friuli, April 9th, 2026 – Marco Felluga’s (link) Friuli Bianco DOC (link) will debut at Vinitaly with a renewed visual identity, designed to express the wine through a contemporary language: essential shapes, bold colors and the denomination at the center, reflecting a clear vision of how a historic winery can evolve while remaining true to itself.
The restyling project was developed with the aim of enhancing the denomination, making it more visible and central, while strengthening shelf recognition. The label, defined by an essential and distinctive design, introduces a contemporary visual code in which geometric shapes evoke the world of wine and the table: the circle as a grape, the square as a table, the triangle as a glass. A strong graphic identity that speaks to the present, while maintaining “Just Molamatta” as a connecting thread between past and future. The name “Molamatta” refers to the hills where the vineyards are located, while the word “Just” conveys the wine’s simplicity and lightness, designed to be enjoyed in a convivial setting.
“Friuli Bianco DOC – Just Molamatta perfectly represents our way of interpreting wine today: immediate, authentic and deeply connected to its territory,” says Ilaria Felluga. “With this restyling, we wanted to make our message clearer, simplifying the language without losing identity. It is a natural step in a journey that looks to the future while keeping our roots firmly in place.”
The wine remains true to its nature, clearly expressing the characteristics that make Friuli one of Italy’s benchmark regions for great white wines. Freshness and elegance are accompanied by a pronounced minerality, resulting in a balanced and straightforward profile, with notes of apple and pear.
This restyling represents above all the expression of a new phase led by Ilaria Felluga, sixth generation of a family whose winemaking roots trace back over 150 years to Istria. Now at the helm of both Marco Felluga and Russiz Superiore, she approaches this generational transition with a pragmatic, market-oriented mindset and a clear vision: to make wine more accessible, more contemporary and closer to new consumers. In this direction also lies the decision to reduce the alcohol level, encouraging a more modern and conscious approach to consumption.
The official debut will take place at Vinitaly (Hall 5 – Stand D3), scheduled in Verona from April 12 to 15, 2026, where visitors will have the opportunity to discover the new Marco Felluga Friuli Bianco DOC Just Molamatta and explore a project that marks an important evolution for the winery. Alongside the Friuli Bianco DOC – Just Molamatta 2025, guests will also be able to taste the new vintages from Marco Felluga, including Mongris Pinot Grigio Collio DOC, as well as wines from Russiz Superiore.
MARCO FELLUGA RUSSIZ SUPERIORE
The vineyards of Marco Felluga, located in Gradisca d’Isonzo, are spread across four different areas of the Collio: Farra d’Isonzo, San Floriano del Collio, Oslavia, and Cormòns. From these vines comes the quality of its wines, both white and red. The vineyards of Russiz Superiore are situated around the estate in a single, contiguous plot. From the vines of Russiz Superiore, in the municipality of Capriva del Friuli, arise the refined elegance and complexity of its wines. Ilaria Felluga, the sixth generation of winegrowers in her family, now leads both wineries with the same dedication and forward-thinking vision that have always distinguished the estate. Since 2024, the company has also been supported by a partnership with Tommasi Family Estates.
