Derrière ce fort attachement patrimonial, les usages, évoluent sensiblement : moins consommé, le vin s’impose de plus en plus comme une boisson « distinguée », associée à la convivialité de moments choisis.

Charity Barrel of the Hospices de Beaune: Pommard Premier Cru, Les Rugiens

Three renowned French personalities from the worlds of cinema and music will sponsor the 165th wine auction (link) on November 16.

This year, 539 barrels from the 2025 vintage will go under the hammer, including the brand-new Cuvée François Faiveley — a Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru donated to the Hospices de Beaune to mark the 200th anniversary of the Nuit-Saint-Georges-based Maison. It is the 52nd Cuvée in the estate’s history.

Bourgogne wines continue to stand out in an unstable international economic environment, despite a slowdown in global wine consumption.
Following two generous vintages and a 2024–2025 regional campaign marked by a much smaller 2024 harvest, Bourgogne wine availability will still meet demand, though signs of slowdown are evident. Export markets remain dynamic, with new opportunities to be developed.

Sip, Laugh, Learn – The Tasting Tips: Return This October

After the enthusiastic reception of the first season last fall on Instagram and Facebook (an average of 16,000 views per episode), the web series The Tasting Tips (Les Astuces Dégust’ in French) is back! The Bourgogne Wine Board (BIVB) is pursuing its mission to make the world of wine more accessible, with six new episodes in English launching October 8 across social media.

The Bourgogne Wine Board receives €700,000 to preserve winegrowing heritage

Societal expectations regarding the use of phytosanitary products and climate change are two major challenges for the Bourgogne wine industry, as well as restoring production capacity. To help the sector meet these challenges, the Bourgogne Wine Board (BIVB) has joined forces with Bourgogne négociants and estates to launch two major programs. Co-developed with the industry, these initiatives have already received support from the French Ministry of Agriculture and FranceAgriMer. The Bourgogne Wine Board has committed to at least five years of support, working with local wine merchants and estates to implement the action plans designed for these programs.

Nouveaux droits de douane aux USA : la filière des vins de Bourgogne impactée

Le couperet est tombé

Dans la mesure où des droits de douane à 200 % avaient été annoncés avec fracas le 13 mars dernier, l’annonce d’hier soir d’appliquer des droits de douane à hauteur de 20 % a été accueillie avec désolation mais aussi un certain soulagement, la filière ayant l’impression d’avoir échappé au pire. En effet, si cette nouvelle mesure affectera nos exportations, l’impact pour les vins de Bourgogne pouvant avoisiner 100 millions d’euros, elle ne provoquera pas un coup d’arrêt brutal comme cela aurait été le cas avec des taxes supérieures.
