Leuchtender Rosé aus einer Assemblage roter Rebsorten (u. a. Gamaret & Garanoir). Frische, fruchtbetonte, einladende und unkomplizierte, ausgewogene Nase mit feinen Düften nach Erdbeere und Cassis, am Gaumen frisch und leicht, trinkfreudig, ohne schwere Extraktion oder zu viel Struktur. Dafür mit Noten von wilder Rose und Himbeere. Aromatisch, saftig. lebendig und sehr erfrischend. Ein Erzeugnis für jede Gelegenheit, also ideal als Aperitif, zu Fisch, vegetarischen Gerichten, Tapas oder Grilladen – auch „on the rocks“ möglich. Perfekt im warmen Sommer bei einer Temperatur von 8–10 °C. Alkohol 13 Vol.-%. 17.25/20 (90/100).

High-end Burgundy attracts rising demand

London, August 2026 – For the first time since 2022, Burgundy has overtaken Bordeaux as the most traded wine region by value, according to new analysis from Liv-ex, the  global fine wine exchange for market data, insight and trading.

For collectors and investors considering a return to the market,  it may now be wise to consider Burgundy’s top names. Mid range Burgundies, however, face continuing pressure.

Abruzzo wines
The regional government approves measures for the 2026 grape harvest: reduced yields and production caps to safeguard the value of the produce.

Ortona, August 2026 – Ahead of the 2026 grape harvest, the Regional Executive, following a proposal from the Consortium for the Protection of Wines of Abruzzo – Consorzio Tutela Vini d’Abruzzo – (link)  – as has been the case in previous years – has approved measures to limit production, designed to help restore the balance between supply and demand with the aim of supporting the growth in value of Abruzzo wines. The measures adopted provide for a reduction in vineyard yields and the administrative withholding of a portion of the grape production harvested during the forthcoming harvest. As at 31 May 2026, there were still 1,084,336 hectolitres of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC in cellars, whilst stocks of Pecorino totalled approximately 240,000 hectolitres across all types, more than half of which relate to the Terre d’Abruzzo PGI.
